How to schedule

Schedule a YouTube Short in four steps

01Connect YouTube: Portal → Schedule → Add channel → YouTube, signing in with the Google account that owns the channel. Connect each channel separately.
02Add the video and title or caption. Your caption becomes the video description.
03Set privacy, declarations and time: choose the visibility (private, unlisted or public), switch on the declarations YouTube requires for publishing — such as the music-usage certification and the other toggles in the composer — and pick a date and time, or save a draft or post now. A draft can be saved first and the required declarations completed later.
