Data Deletion Instructions

Disconnect a social account

Removes the connected-account record and immediately deletes the OAuth tokens FavStash holds for that account. Disconnecting YouTube also asks Google to revoke FavStash’s grant before the local data is deleted. Analytics are fetched on demand, so they stop being available in FavStash when the account is disconnected.

Sign in at favstash.app/dashboard/schedule.
Open Manage in the channels bar, find the account, and choose Disconnect.
Optionally also revoke FavStash on the platform side: Instagram (Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites), Google (security.google.com), or TikTok (Settings → Security → Apps).

Delete individual saves or scheduled posts

Saves: open the item in the mobile app or web stash and delete it. Its derived text (transcript, summary) and search-index entry are removed with it.
Scheduled posts: cancel or delete them from the Schedule page. Uploaded post media automatically expires 30 days after its most recent upload, scheduling, or rescheduling. Cloud storage lifecycle processing is asynchronous, so removal can complete shortly after that eligibility point.

Delete your entire account

In the mobile app or web dashboard, go to account settings and choose Delete account. This immediately disables sign-in and starts a 30-day deletion workflow that permanently removes:

your profile and sign-in identity,
every saved item, note, collection, and search-index entry,
all connected social-account records and their OAuth tokens; YouTube grants are revoked and this data is deleted before the 30-day grace window begins,
scheduled-post records and analytics caches; uploaded post media is removed by the 60-day automatic lifecycle described above,
API keys.

The 30-day window exists solely so we can recover the rest of an account deleted by mistake. Disconnected social integrations are not restored and must be connected again. After the window elapses, deletion is permanent. Residual copies in encrypted backups and security logs age out on a limited schedule.

Data received from Instagram, YouTube, or TikTok

Platform data FavStash receives (your channel profile and the performance metrics of your accounts and posts) is deleted when you disconnect the account or delete your FavStash account, as described above. To request deletion of anything you believe we still hold, email contact@sketricsolutions.com from your account email. We delete YouTube Authorized Data as soon as possible and no later than seven calendar days after a verified request or disconnection.

Deleting data from FavStash does not delete videos, channel data, or other information stored by YouTube. To delete data from YouTube, use YouTube or YouTube Studio directly.
