Connect Claude to your social media in three steps
No API key, no config file. Claude connects through its own connector directory.
01Connect
In Claude, open Customize → Connectors → Discover and search for "favstash" (or open the direct listing). Select FavStash, choose Connect, then sign in to FavStash and approve access.

02Link your channels
In FavStash, go to Portal → Schedule → Add channel and sign in to each account you want Claude to manage: Instagram (Professional account), TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X on paid plans. Claude can also ask FavStash for a connect link if no account is linked yet.
03Ask
Test with a read-only prompt first: "Find three things I saved about hooks. Do not create any posts yet." Then move on to planning and scheduling.
Honest check: a response with zero results still counts as connected. Tool discovery alone doesn't prove access — ask Claude to call get_stash_summary and report the counts it gets back.

- Claude confirms before publishing unless you have pre-approved the action. Drafts are always available to review in Portal → Schedule.
- Scheduled times are queued in UTC. Check the time Claude confirms back.
- X is paid-only and uses a monthly allowance (50 units on Doom Scroller, 200 on Creator Pro; a post with a URL uses 10).
- LinkedIn connections last about 60 days and need a manual reconnect afterwards.
- The remote connector can't read files on your computer. For local uploads, use Claude Code with the FavStash CLI.

Keep Claude's access safe, scoped and revocable
- Browser sign-in (OAuth) — you approve access in FavStash; Claude never sees your platform passwords.
- Scoped to your account — every request is limited to the signed-in owner's data.
- Revoke any time in AI Connect; access caches can take up to five minutes to expire.
- Tokens stay server-side. Never paste tokens or keys into a chat.

Fix the three things that usually go wrong
- Claude says it can't see any channels → connect your accounts in Portal → Schedule first, then ask Claude to list connected accounts.
- Instagram won't connect → convert the account to a Professional (Creator or Business) account in Instagram settings; this is an Instagram requirement, free to change.
- A post flipped to an error state → open it on the calendar to see the reason (expired connection, platform rejection). Transient failures retry automatically; fix the cause and requeue.
