Social media analytics
See channel growth and post performance across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X in FavStash.
Analytics closes the loop: you saved the inspiration, you posted the content — now see what actually worked, without opening three different creator dashboards.
Analytics are included on the free plan for one connected account with a 7-day history window. Requests through the Portal, MCP, and ChatGPT share that same allowance and are not metered separately. Paid plans extend the history window and connected-account cap.
The overview: channel growth#
The web and mobile Overview show Views, Likes, Comments, Shares, Reach, Follower growth, and Saves, in that order. Choose connected accounts with the colored pills and a 7-, 30-, or 90-day window within your plan. Use the arrows to switch metrics. The mobile experience stays compact: touch the chart for channel values and expand How these metrics work for supporting details.
- Views: daily lines per channel, so spikes remain visible. Inspect a date for both that day's additions and the running total within the selected range.
- Likes, comments, and shares: daily lines when comparing channels; bars for a single selected channel. At 90 days, bar views group seven days.
- Reach: accounts reached each day, separately by channel. We do not add days or channels into a unique period total: the same person may recur.
- Follower growth: a running sum of daily changes within the range, not your current follower count. Net values include losses. If Instagram only returned followers gained for a day, that difference is identified.
- Saves: bars kept separate by channel. Instagram saves, YouTube playlist additions, and X bookmarks are different actions; TikTok saves are unavailable.
Web also offers period comparisons when both periods have complete reports. Reach compares average daily reach; follower comparisons use net reports only. Mobile keeps channel details on chart inspection instead of a comparison table.
FavStash backfills available Instagram and YouTube daily reports within your plan's history window. YouTube usually reports 1–2 days later, sometimes longer. TikTok and X build daily history from consecutive scheduled snapshots; past activity cannot be reconstructed from today's totals. New connections first establish a baseline. Missing days stay blank, not zero, and counter changes can be negative because of removals or provider corrections.
LinkedIn appears as a disabled channel pill. Personal-profile analytics are not available through FavStash's self-serve access; LinkedIn Page analytics are not enabled in this release. Scheduling and publishing still work.
What each platform exposes#
Each platform's official API decides what FavStash can show. Here's the honest map:

If a YouTube connection predates the analytics permission, FavStash falls back to lifetime channel totals (subscribers, total views, video count) and tells you so — reconnect the channel to unlock daily metrics.
TikTok

TikTok's account API exposes current counters. The AI account snapshot can include aggregates from up to 20 recent videos; those are not daily activity. The Overview uses a separate daily collector: follower and account-like totals when returned, plus observed changes across tracked public videos for views, comments, shares, and a likes fallback. Older accessible videos are tracked; private or unavailable videos are excluded. No reach or saves are exposed through this connection. Consecutive daily captures are needed for changes.
X
X analytics require a paid plan. Overview stores daily follower snapshots and observed counter changes across accessible original posts, excluding replies and reposts, within X's latest 3,200-post timeline. Likes, replies (Comments), reposts plus quotes (Shares), and bookmarks (Saves) are available when the provider returns them. Views are changes in video-view counters, deduplicated by video identity; they are not post impressions. Unique reach is unavailable. Missing or deleted posts are not subtracted as though their counters became zero.
The AI account tool separately exposes current account counters, and content analysis exposes recent public post engagement. These are not the Overview's stored daily-history endpoint.
Analytics through your AI#
AI Connect can work with both account totals and owned content:
- One account snapshot — provider totals and available trends for a connected Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, or X account. The Portal's stored daily growth history is not yet exposed as an AI Connect tool.
- Ranked content — sort one account's owned posts, Reels, Shorts, or videos by an available metric. This includes content published directly on the platform, not only posts published through FavStash.
- Cross-account reports — compare multiple accounts or platforms while keeping provider-specific metrics separate. FavStash does not pretend that a YouTube view, Instagram reach, and TikTok view are identical.
- Deeper inspection — inspect one selected item after a ranking without replacing the ranked result.
Post-level analytics#
Every owned post in your FavStash calendar gets its own performance view, including content published directly in Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube:

Post analytics are available once a post reaches the published state or is discovered from a connected account. Open the post on the Schedule calendar to see its live counters and refresh them on demand. They're also the raw material for the fun question you can ask your AI: "which of my last 5 posts performed best, and why?"
Freshness & caching#
- Instagram and YouTube reports are reconciled every six hours, including recent provider revisions and pending history. Their reporting dates use the provider's Pacific reporting day.
- TikTok and X snapshots run daily near 00:15 UTC. Only comparable consecutive daily captures produce a daily change; missed captures leave gaps.
- The chart uses stored history and available provider reports. A refresh cannot make delayed provider data arrive sooner. Collection and connection problems are shown separately from normal reporting delays.
- Account and post analytics have their own short-lived caches. A current account total and an Overview daily report may have different timestamps and coverage; they should not be treated as the same measure.
- Lookback windows go up to 90 days where your plan and provider support it.
